Undari Selected As NEAC Defensive Player of the Week

Wells College men's volleyball sophomore setter Josh Undari earned North Eastern Athletic Conference Defensive Player of the Week honors for the week ending Feb. 18, 2018.

Undari led Wells to three wins at the Nazareth College Invitational. He averaged 2.57 digs per set over four matches. In a victory over St. John Fisher, Undari had 16 digs, one solo block, and three block assists for the Express. He totaled 36 digs and five blocks on the weekend. Offensively, Undari had 19 kills, 92 assists, and three service aces. Wells has a 10-5 overall record this season.

Josh is a native of Manor Park, N.Y. and is majoring in economics and mathematics.

It is the third time this season that a Wells men's volleyball player has earned a NEAC weekly honor. Kevin Batmunkh was Defensive Player of the Week for the week ending Jan. 21 and Brannon Perdicho was NEAC Player of the Week for the week ending Jan. 28.

Wells begins conference play this weekend with a Saturday, Feb. 24 match at noon at SUNY Polytechnic Institute. After the match against SUNY Poly, Wells faces Mount St. Vincent in a neutral-site non-conference match.
