Three-Set Victory For Men's Volleyball Over D'Youville

The Wells College men's volleyball team won for the ninth time in its last 10 matches and remained undefeated in North Eastern Athletic Conference play with a three-set victory over D'Youville College on Sunday, March 25 at the Schwartz Athletic Center. Set scores were 25-15, 25-15, 25-11.

Wells is 16-6 overall and 4-0 in the NEAC. D'Youville is 6-14 overall and 2-4 in the conference.

The Express hit .478 in the first set and .500 in the third set. The hitting percentage over the match was .412, which was the second-best attack percentage of the season.

Wells jumped out to an 8-2 lead in the opening set and never trailed on the way to a 25-15 win. In the second set, Wells used a 7-1 run to build a 15-8 lead. The third set saw Wells record 13 kills with just two errors on 22 attack attempts.

Caden O'Loughlin led Wells with 13 kills. Brannon Perdicho and Robert Patzer had six kills each. Ryan Turner and Jonathan Haines had three block assists each. Patzer served two aces. Josh Undari had 25 assists and shared the team lead with Perdicho as each had eight digs.

The Express continues conference play with road matches Friday, March 30 at St. Elizabeth and Saturday, March 31 at Lancaster Bible.
