Three-Set Win For Men's Volleyball

The Wells College men's volleyball team picked up its first conference win of the season with a three-set victory at Saint Elizabeth on Sunday, Feb. 10. Set scores were 25-13, 25-11, 25-13.

Wells had 12 or more kills in each set and Saint Elizabeth totaled 18 hitting errors as the Express cruised to victory.

Wells had 16 kills and four errors in the opening set for a .429 hitting percentage. In the second set, Wells hit .550 with 14 kills and three errors. Wells hit .380 in the match.

Caden O'Loughlin led Wells with 16 kills and had a .636 hitting percentage. He also had a team-best 11 digs. Joe Zimmerman had eight kills and Justin Williams had six. Ryan Turner served three aces. Cooper Colesante had 17 assists and Josh Undari had 14. Peter DiLauro had six digs.

Wells is 8-5 overall and 1-1 in the North Eastern Athletic Conference. Saint Elizabeth is 2-4 overall and 0-2 in the NEAC. Wells is back in action Thursday with a NEAC road match at Keuka College at 7 p.m.
