Another NEAC Weekly Honor For O'Loughlin

Wells College men's volleyball junior Caden O'Loughlin earned North Eastern Athletic Conference Defensive Player of the Week honors for the week ending Feb. 17, 2019. It was the third time this season that O'Loughlin has earned a NEAC weekly honor, and the fifth time in his career.

Wells won its only match last week, a three-set victory at Keuka College. In the match, O'Loughlin led Wells with 10 digs. The Express won by set scores of 25-14, 25-13, 25-15. He also contributed eight kills, four service aces and two assists in the win. O'Loughlin currently leads the NEAC with 125 digs.

He majors in computer science and mathematics, and is from Louisville, Kentucky.

Wells has a 9-5 overall record through 14 matches this season with a 2-1 record in the NEAC. Wells plays Saturday, Feb. 23 at Rivier University and against top-ranked Springfield College also at Rivier.
