Undari Named NEAC Player of the Week

Josh Undari of the Wells College men's volleyball team is the North Eastern Athletic Conference Player of the Week for the week ending March 3, 2019. In a five-win week for the Express, Undari surpassed a career milestone and set a program record.

The junior setter from Manor Park, N.Y. surpassed 2,000 career assists with 144 assists and an average of 9.60 assists per set in the team's 5-0 week in non-conference play. On March 2 against Purchase, Undari finished with 10 assists to become the program's all-time leader in assists. He topped the previous mark of 2,031 set by Scott Litvin '18.

Over the five-match win streak, Wells totaled 205 kills against just 61 errors. Undari assisted on 144 of those kills.

In addition to hitting those milestones, Undari recorded 16 kills, 11 service aces, 18 digs, seven block assists while posting a .448 hitting percentage.

Wells has totaled six NEAC Player of the Week or Defensive Player of the Week selections in men's volleyball this season. It is the second career weekly honor for Undari.
