Armstrong, Hernon Finish Strong At Hobart Invitational

GENEVA, N.Y. – Junior Stephen Armstrong (Horseheads, N.Y.) and senior Paul Hernon (New Hartford, N.Y.) posted strong finishes for the Wells College men's cross country team as their 170 team points placed them sixth amongst a competitive field at the 8K Hobart Invitational on Saturday.

Armstrong crossed the finish line in 31:12.1 while Hernon wrapped up his race with a time of 32:37.2. Sophomore Ky'aire Reed (Trenton, N.J.) and senior Andrew Judson (Court Gambrillis, Md.) posted times of 36:02 and 37:00.1, respectively, while sophomore Andrew Zellers (Seneca Falls, N.Y.) rounded out the point scorers with a time of 38:04.2.

Juniors Zachary Tripsas (Elka Park, N.Y.) and Raymond Soriano (Laredo, Texas) rounded out the field with times of 39:42.8 and 52:34.1.

Wells will compete next at the Yellow Jacket Invitational on Saturday, Sept. 20 at high noon.
