Men’s Cross Country Competes At CCOC

GENEVA, N.Y. – The Wells College men's cross country team posted a seventh place finish at Saturday's Cross Country Only Championship, held at Seneca Lake State Park. The Express competed against 13 other programs on the 8K course that hosted 125 individual runners.

Senior Stephen Armstrong (Erin, N.Y.) placed first out of the Wells competitors with a time of 29:36.3, earning a 33rd place finish against the field. Sophomore Tanner Mingen (Cypress, Texas) placed 42nd, crossing the finish line in 29:58.4. Freshman Antonio D'Arpino (Auburn, N.Y.) finished with a time of 30:58 while classmate Bradlee Sherman (Cortland, N.Y.) crossed the line in 32:05.

Freshman John Tolley (Pittsford, N.Y.) rounded out the point fetchers for the Express, placing 88th with a time of 33:43.1. Junior Ky'aire Reed (Trenton, N.J.) finished in 34:53.9 while freshman Ross Cobb (South Burlington, Vt.) was the next Wells finisher, placing 104th with a time of 35:14.8.

The Express return to action this Saturday, Oct. 31 at the North Eastern Athletic Conference Championship meet, held at Jamesville Beach Park in Jamesville, N.Y.
