Men's Cross Country Places 25th At Rochester

The Wells College men's cross country team placed 25th in a field of 29 teams at the University of Rochester's Yellowjacket Invitational on Saturday, Sept. 17 at Genesee Valley Park in Rochester. The eight-kilometer race was contested under windy, overcast conditions.

The Express had five runners finish faster than 34 minutes at the meet, which included a field of nearly 200 competitors. Tanner Mingen led the way for Wells in 31 minutes, 29 seconds. Adam Sleezer finished in 32 minutes. Antonio D'Arpino has a time of 32:46 and John Tolley (33:34) and Ross Cobb (33:45) crossed close together to round out the scorers for Wells.

Bradlee Sherman (36:37) and Ky'aire Reed (37:54) were the other Wells runners in the lineup on Saturday.

The Express will next compete at the Anderson Invitational at Roberts Wesleyan in Rochester on Saturday, Sept. 24.
