Men's Cross Country Takes 10th At Hamilton

The Wells College men's cross country team ran at the Hamilton College Invitational on Saturday, Oct. 6. The course was run over the Hamilton College Golf Course and covered eight kilometers on a windy fall morning.

The Express lineup of six competitors placed tenth in a field of 11 teams that included a total of 115 individual competitors.

The lead pack of three Wells runners finished within 67 seconds of one another, led by Antonio D'Arpino with a time of 32 minutes, 11 seconds. Eli Stone followed in 33:09 and Ross Cobb was next at 33:18. John Tolley crossed fourth in 35:14 and Bradlee Sherman also scored for Wells with a time of 37:36. Emmanuel Chea completed the lineup in 42:47.

Wells will compete next on Saturday, Oct. 13 in the annual Cross Country Only Conference championship meet hosted by Hobart and William Smith in Geneva, N.Y.
