ROSER EARNS NEAC FIRST TEAM HONORS

(Aurora, N.Y.)─ Wells College women's basketball player Ashley Roser has been named to the Women's DIII News Freshmen All-American Team. This is the second post-season award for Roser, who was also selected NEAC First Team All-Conference back in February.
 
Roser scored a total of 547 points during the season and led the NEAC with 21.6 points per game, while finishing tied for the conference lead in rebounds per game with 13.8. Roser also led the conference in blocks with 80, blocks per game with 3.33, and double-doubles with 21. Roser's statistics ranked her nationally in points per game (7th), rebounds per game (10th), blocked shots per game (14th), and double-doubles (3rd), while being named NEAC Student-Athlete of the Week four-times during the season. Highlights of the season included a 32 point, 16 rebound performance against Cazenovia College and a 32 point, 31 rebound performance against Penn. St. Berks.
 
The Express finished their inaugural season with a 4-21 record, including a 4-18 record in the NEAC.
