ROSER EARNS THIRD NEAC STUDENT-ATHLETE OF THE WEEK AWARD

(Bradford, Pa.)─ Ashley Roser (Taberg, NY) was selected as the North Eastern Athletic Conference Women's Basketball Student-Athlete of the Week for the third time this season. Roser, a 5'9" freshman forward for the Wells College Express was selected for her strong offensive performance leading her team 1-2 (1-1 in conference play). She finished the week with 82 points (27.3/game), 38 rebounds (12.6/game), 12 assists (4/game), 5 steals (1.6/game), 14 blocks (4.6/game), a .405 shooting percentage, and 26-for-34 from the free throw line.  Roser receives this award for the third time this season. 

Roser had 27 points and 13 rebounds against SUNY Cobleskill, finished with 22 points and 13 rebounds against Alfred University and rounded out the week by notching a career high 33 points and 13 rebounds against Cazenovia College.

Roser and the Wells Express return to action next on Jan. 29 when they take on NEAC foe Keuka College at 3 p.m. in Aurora.
