STORM TOP EXPRESS FOR TENTH STRAIGHT

(Aurora, N.Y.)─ The Keuka College Storm women's basketball team continued to roll Saturday afternoon defeating the Wells College Express 82-37 for their tenth straight victory. Jessica Bandrowski (Center Moriches, N.Y./Center Moriches) led the Storm with 16 points. Ashley Roser (Taberg, N.Y./Camden) paced the Express with a game high 18 points, 15 rebounds, six assists, and six blocks. The Storm improve to 14-1 in North Eastern Athletic Conference play and 16-1 overall, while the loss drops the Express to 3-14 (3-12 NEAC).
 
Gabrielle Palozzola (Syracuse, N.Y./Bishop Ludden) had a career night for the Express finishing with 15 points in 33 minutes of play. Brittany Schrock (Elmira Heights, N.Y./Thomas Edison) finished with 11 points and Danielle Gravel (Sidney, N.Y./Sidney) chipped in with nine points to round-out the highlights for the Storm
 
Keuka held the Express to just 25 percent from the field and held a slight edge on the boards 39-36, while shooting 50 percent from the field, including 14 of 18 from the foul line.
 
The Storm used a deep bench, which included 13 different scorers, to stay fresh and pressure the ball for all 40 minutes. Jumping out to an early 12 point lead, Keuka controlled the half and would head into the break up 37-21. Keuka continued to pressure the ball in the second half, holding the Express to just 16 points, as the Storm cruised to their tenth straight victory.
 
The Express return to action on Tuesday evening against NEAC opponent SUNY Cobleskill with the game set to tip at 6 p.m. in Aurora.
