GANSEVOORT, N.Y. – Senior Ashley Roser (Taberg, N.Y.) of the Wells College women's basketball team collected her 14th career North Eastern Athletic Conference (NEAC) Women's Basketball Student-Athlete of the Week for her performance this past Sunday for the Express. Roser and the Express racked up a 64-54 victory over the Kangaroos of SUNY Canton in their first game of the new year.

Roser scored 26 points to lead players from both teams while adding 12 rebounds for her 23rd-straight double-double dating back to last season. In addition, she added five blocks, three assists and three steals after shooting 11-of-18 from the floor in 31 total minutes of action. Exiting play on Monday, Roser remains the NEAC leader in both points (24.8) and rebounds (13.6).

As of Dec. 15, 2013, Roser led all NCAA Division III players in double-doubles with eight on the season. She also ranked eighth in points per game (24.6) and 10th in rebounds per game (13.8) through her team's first eight games. Her 14 NEAC Student-Athlete of the Week awards are the most by any Wells College student-athlete since joining the league prior to the 2007-08 season.

The Express return to action this Tuesday, Jan. 7 as they face-off against the Giants of Keystone College in a 5:00 p.m. road contest.
