The Wells College women's basketball team fell behind early and lost 57-35 at Keuka College on Tuesday, Jan. 30. Keuka is 13-5 overall and 8-3 in the North Eastern Athletic Conference. Wells is 6-13 overall and 5-5 in the NEAC.
The host Wolves led 15-9 after the first quarter and stretched the advantage to 35-11 at halftime.
Kamarie Maturine had 13 points and five rebounds for Wells. Shelby Medovich scored 12 points.
Yanna Ososkalo had five steals for Wells and has recorded at least one steal in 13 of her last 15 games.
The Express returns home this weekend for games Saturday and Sunday. Wells hosts Lancaster Bible College at 1 p.m. Saturday and Wilson College at noon on Sunday.
