Woman’s Basketball Team Falls to Valiants

The Wells College women's basketball team fell to Manhattanville College on Friday, Nov. 15 in a non-conference road game in Purchase, N.Y.

The Valiants came out of the gate hard with a 19-point run that was too much for the Express to overcome in a 90-32 loss. Lorissa Parks got Wells on the board with a three and helped spark the team's best quarter in the third. Parks got more than half of her team-leading total of 13 in the third in her attempt to spark her teammates.

Brittany Kropp added a dozen points to go with eight boards. Manhattanville played an aggressive game on the attack for most of the affair. The Valiants' defense got more than 50 percent of their points from Express turnovers. Wells shot 50 percent from beyond the arc.

The women's basketball team continues on the road with a game against Utica College tomorrow, Nov. 16 at 2 p.m. The game can be viewed at: https://portal.stretchinternet.com/utica/.
