WELLS ATHLETES NAMED TO ALL-CONFERENCE TEAMS

Aurora, NY Sophomore Rebekah Coons of the softball team, Junior Emily Lotkowictz,  Freshmen Charlotte Fielding, Sophomore Stefanie Miller, Freshmen Gabriella Decker, and Sophomore goalie Liz Barclay all of the women's lacrosse team were named to  NEAC All-Conference teams just released on Thursday.

Coons was named to the NEAC Softball All-Conference Third Team on Thursday. Starting 27 of 30 games at third base, Coons led the team in batting average at .351, hits with 26, and a .448 on base percentage.

Lotkowictz was named NEAC Women's Lacrosse All-Conference First Team. In her first year on the women's lacrosse team, Lotkowictz spent much of the season amongst the leaders in every major offensive category while ranking nationally in goals and goals per game. Lotkowictz finished first in the NEAC with 63 goals, third in assists with 16, first in point/game with 7.50, second in overall points with 75, second in game-winning goals with three, second in groundballs with 3.60, first in shots/game with 10.10, first in draw control per game with 5.20, and first in caused turnovers/game with 1.80.

Charlotte Fielding was named NEAC Women's Lacrosse First Team. Fielding played in 11 of 12 games for the Express finishing with 10 goals and one assist on 19 shots on goal while recording 24 groundballs and four caused turnovers on the season.

Stefanie Miller earned NEAC Women's Lacrosse All-Conference Second Team. Miller played in 12 games and finished second on the team with 17 goals, five assist, for a total of 22 points. Miller also recorded 29 shots on goal, 40 groundballs, and 11 caused turnovers on the season.

Gabriella Decker played in 12 games for the Express and was named NEAC Women's Lacrosse All-Conference Second Team. Decker finished with eight goals and four assist on 20 shots while recording 20 groundballs and five caused turnovers.

Goalie Liz Barclay started all 12 games for the Express and recorded an astounding 118 saves on 317 shots faced. Barclay's goals against average ranked her second in the NEAC while her save percentage and saves/game were good for fifth in the conference. Barclay also recorded the lone shutout in the NEAC in a 23-0 romping of Wilson College on April 18th.
