OSWEGO STATE ROLLS OVER EXPRESS

Oswego, N.Y.–  The Wells College women's lacrosse team (3-4) had their three game winning streaked snapped on Wednesday afternoon falling to the Oswego State Lakers (2-3) 23-5 in Oswego, N.Y. Emily Lotkowictz (Skaneateles, N.Y./Skaneateles) and Sarah Allen (Clay, N.Y./Cicero-North) each finished with two goals and one assist, while Eleanor Eshenour (Waterloo, N.Y./Waterloo) added a goal and an assist to lead the Express.  

The Lakers jumped out to a quick 3-0 lead in the first five minutes, but the Express answered back as Lotkowictz and Eshenour netted two goals to climb back within two, 4-2. The Oswego offense picked things up from there going on runs of seven goals and four goals, as their lead erupted to 12, 16-4, heading into the break.

It was much of the same for the Express in the second half as the Lakers held Wells to one goal on three shots, while scoring seven goals of their own to complete the blowout victory.

In all 10 different Lakers found the scoring column; Bri Borrow led the attack with five goals and one assists, while Marisa Audley added three goals and two assists.

Oswego controlled the majority game holding the advantage in shots (37-13), ground balls (14-6), and clears (18-11), while the Express controlled the draw (15-12).

The Express will look to bounce back against The College of St. Elizabeth on Friday, April 2nd at 4:00 p.m. in Aurora, N.Y.
