WOMEN'S LACROSSE COLLECTS POSTSEASON AWARDS

Aurora, N.Y.-  The Wells College women's lacrosse team had seven players selected to the North Atlantic Conference West Division All-Conference teams released by the conference. Wells head coach Lyndsey Wilcox was named NAC West Division Coach of the Year, while Elizabeth Barclay (Laporte, Pa./Lincoln Academy) took home NAC West Division Goalie of the Year honors.

Emily Lotkowictz (Skaneateles, N.Y./Skaneateles), Sarah Allen (Clay, N.Y./Cicero-North), Madeline Bass (Lemon Grove, Calif./Helix), and Barclay were all named All-Conference First Team, while Stefanie Miller (Barton, N.Y./Tioga Central), Eleanor Eshenour (Waterloo, N.Y./Waterloo), and Charlotte Fielding (Queensbury, N.Y./Queensbury) were selected to the All-Conference Second Team.

The Express had one of its most successful years in recent history finishing 7-2 in the NEAC and 8-8 overall, earning the No. 1 seed in the conference tournament held this past weekend.

The Express won their semi-final round game against No. 4 seed Cazenovia 17-16 in double-overtime before falling to No. 2 seed Keuka College, 15-14, in the championship game on Sunday.

Lotkowictz finished the season with 66 goals, 44 assists, 53 groundballs, 51 draw controls, and 22 caused turnovers, while being selected NAC West Division Player of the Week twice. This is Lotkowictz second first team selection.

Barclay earns first team selection for the first time in her career finishing with eight wins and 166 saves.

Allen and Bass were the only two freshmen selected first team all-conference. Allen finished with 57 goals, 7 assist, 28 groundballs, and 20 draw controls. Bass finished with 23 goals, 12 assist, 38 groundballs, and 29 draw controls.

Miller earned second team honors finishing with 18 goals, 10 assist, 44 groundballs, and 38 draw controls. Eshenour notched 18 goals, nine assist, 36 groundballs, and 15 draw controls, while Fielding rounded out the all-conference selections with four goals, two assist, and 24 groundballs.
