EXPRESS TAKE BITE OF NITTANY LIONS

Aurora, N.Y.–  The Wells College women's lacrosse team won their third straight game, defeating North Eastern Athletic Conference opponent Penn. St. Abington 15-2 on Sunday afternoon in Aurora, N.Y. Emily Lotkowictz led the Express with 11 points (5 g, 6 a) and Sarah Allen added three goals and one assist to lead the Express. Elizabeth Barclay earned the win in goal with 10 saves.

Anna Breard scored an unassisted goal 1:45 into the first half and the rout was on as the Express would find the back of the net ten more times for an 11-1 halftime lead. In all five different players scored for the Express. Stefanie Miller scored three goals, Breard netted two, while Eleanor Eshenour rounded out the scoring with two goals and one assists.

It was a dominating performance by the Express, who held the advantage in shots (28-14), ground balls (18-17), draw controls (11-8), and saves (10-8).

Wells next plays Oswego State on Wednesday, March 31st at 4:00 p.m. in Oswego, N.Y.
