Meg Milliman Hired As Women's Lacrosse Head Coach

Wells College has hired Meg Milliman as head coach of the women's lacrosse program. Milliman brings extensive coaching and playing experience at various levels of lacrosse to Wells.

Milliman most recently served as assistant coach at NCAA Division I member Binghamton University. She has NCAA Division III head-coaching experience at Frostburg State University from 2012-2015. Milliman was an assistant coach at Marywood University in 2011.

"Meg is an excellent addition to our staff. She understands and is committed to the Division III philosophy, and will help our student-athletes achieve successes on the field and within the campus community," Wells College Director of Athletics Mike Lindberg said.

Milliman is a 2010 graduate of York College of York, Pa. She was a four-year player on the women's lacrosse team, the first four years of varsity competition for that team. She was a two-year captain and totaled 61 goals and 13 assists as her class helped establish the culture and foundation of a program that is now regularly ranked among the top teams in the nation. Milliman earned a bachelor's degree in psychology at York, and completed her master's degree in marriage and family therapy at Liberty University in 2013.

She is the owner and director of RIDE Lacrosse Club in Binghamton, N.Y. and has previously worked as a coach at clubs and organizations near Baltimore, Md. beginning in 2008.

Milliman is the 13th head coach of the Wells women's lacrosse program, which began varsity competition in 1980. She replaces Missy Jaworski, who led the program in the 2016 and 2017 seasons.
