D'YOUVILLE ROLLS TO 4-1 VICTORY OVER WELLS

(Buffalo, N.Y.)Danielle Braun (Wales, NY/Iroquois) was involved in all of the D'Youville goals, scoring twice and assisting on two others to lead D'Youville to a 4-1 win over Wells College women's soccer in a non-conference matchup. The win improved D'Youville to 5-2 overall, while the Express fall to 1-6-1. 

Danielle Gehen (West Seneca, NY/West Seneca West) opened the scoring in the twentieth-minute with her fifth of the season on a feed from Braun. Stephanie Lozzi (Youngstown, NY/Lewiston-Porter) scored a 1:32 later assisted by Braun and Megan Kraeger (Constableville, NY/South Lewis). Braun scored the last two, one assisted by Gehen, the last unassisted. 

The lone Wells goal came in the seventy-third minute from Paige Stone (Madison, NY/Madison). Megan Lawrence finished with nine saves in the loss. 

The next game for Wells is Saturday September 25th against Gallaudet University at 5:00 p.m. in Washington, D.C.
