Women's Soccer To Host Indoor Soccer Tournament

AURORA, N.Y. – The Wells College women's soccer team will be hosting a 4-vs.-4 indoor soccer tournament this Sunday, Feb. 28 from 2 p.m. to 6 p.m. in the Farenthold Athletic Wing. 

Teams of four, five or six players will play in 15 minute long games (with tied games playing a three minute, "golden goal" overtime) with all funds raised to benefit the women's soccer team at Wells. A bracket system will be in place with substitutions made on the fly (four players on the court at all times).

There is an entry fee of $5.00 per person and all participants must sign a waiver. Each team must have one female and each squad must have at least one member not currently playing men's or women's soccer at Wells. The tournament fee must be furnished upon check-in without exception. 

Teams can pre-register by e-mailing Sarah Halstead (skhalstead14@wells.edu) or Kaylee Schworm (klschworm14@wells.edu) before Feb. 26 to ensure entry. Please include the team's name, team contact information, complete roster and color they will wear to the contest. Check-in will be conducted at 1:15 p.m. in the Schwartz Athletic Center lobby.
