Emma Booth Takes NEAC Women's Soccer Weekly Award

Wells College women's soccer freshman Emma Booth made an immediate impact on the team's 2016 season and helped the Express to two victories in its first two games of the year. For her contributions, Booth earned NEAC Women's Soccer Offensive Player of the Week recognition for the week ending Sept. 4.

Booth scored two goals and had one assist in each of the first two games of the season for the Express. Wells defeated SUNY Canton 4-1 on Thursday and then beat Cedar Crest by a 5-1 score on Sunday. It is the best start to a season for Wells since 2006, when the team also won its first two games.

Booth leads the Express in goals (4), assists (2) and points (10).

It is the first career NEAC weekly award for Booth.
