Wells Women's Soccer Drops Road Game At Hartwick

The Wells College women's soccer team went on the road for the second consecutive game in non-conference play and dropped a 6-0 game at undefeated Hartwick College in Oneonta, N.Y. on Wednesday, Sept. 6.

The host Hartwick Hawks scored twice in the opening six minutes of the match and led 3-0 at halftime. The Hawks added three goals in the second half to account for the final score.

Wells starting goalkeeper Quinn Doubet made seven saves in 74 minutes of action. Karlie Maloney was the goalkeeper for the final 16 minutes.

Autumn McLain, Yanna Ososkalo, and Tayler Nichols each recorded a shot for the Express.

Wells is 1-2-0 on the season and Hartwick is 3-0-0.

Wells is back in action at home Sunday, Sept. 10 at 2 p.m. against Cedar Crest.
