The Wells College women's soccer team hosted Lancaster Bible College in a North Eastern Athletic Conference matchup Saturday, Oct. 7 at the Wells Turf Field. Lancaster Bible scored two second-half goals and went on to a 2-0 victory.
Wells is 2-7-0 overall and 0-3-0 in the NEAC. Lancaster Bible is 3-7-1 overall and 2-1-0 in the conference. Wells is back in action Sunday, Oct. 7 at home at 2 p.m. against Penn State Abington.
The visiting Chargers scored the opening goal with a long-range shot in the 52nd minute, and doubled the lead with 11:40 remaining in the game.
Wells goalkeeper Quinn Doubet made 13 saves. Four different Wells players recorded shots.
