Quinn Doubet Earns NEAC Weekly Award

Wells College women's soccer goalkeeper Quinn Doubet was selected as the NEAC Women's Soccer Defensive Player of the Week for the week ending Oct. 22, 2017.

Doubet, a senior goalkeeper from Cortland, N.Y., was a key part of a three-win week for the Express. She allowed just one goal over 203 minutes of action and totaled 15 saves in three games. Wells defeated Cazenovia College, College of Saint Elizabeth, and Gallaudet University – all three games in NEAC play.

She made 10 saves in a 2-1 victory over Cazenovia, and had four saves as Wells earned a 1-0 shutout at Gallaudet.

It is the second career NEAC Student-Athlete of the Week honor for Doubet, who was NEAC Defensive Player of the Week for the week ending Nov. 2, 2015 during her sophomore season.

Doubet and her other classmates will be honored at the team's Senior Day festivities this Saturday, Oct. 28 at 2 p.m. when the Express hosts SUNY Poly in the final home game of the 2017 season.
