EXPRESS MAKE IT A CLEAN SWEEP OF SCREAMING EAGLES

Aurora, NY– The Wells College women's swim team cruised to a 70-24 victory over the College of St. Elizabeth, taking first in every event on Saturday afternoon at Wells. The win improves the women's dual meet record to 2-2 on the year.

In all, five different swimmers finished first for the Express led by Jackie Ross (Rensselaer), Idolyn Villiotti (Amherst, NH), Kelsey Stafford (Coloroado Springs, CO), and Colleen Keegan (Rindge, NH) all whom had two first place finishes. Ross took first in the 50 Yard Freestyle (28.28) and 100 Yard Butterfly (1:09.63). Villiotti took first in the 200 Yard IM  (2:43.78) and 100 Yard Backstroke (1:14.84). Stafford took first in the 100 Yard Freestyle (1:08.30) and 100 Yard Breaststroke (1:18.17) while Keegan took first in the two longest events of the day the 1000 Yard Freestyle (13:41.69) and 500 Yard Freestyle (6:44.45). 

Tiffany Raymond (Chittenango) rounded out the individual events with a first place finish in the 200 Yard Freestyle with a time of 2:35.33. The Express also took first in the 200 Yard Medley Relay(2:31.98) and 200 Yard Freestyle Relay (2:02.40). 

Wells will take to the pool next against SUNY Cobleskill on Thursday, November 19th, at 6:00 pm in Cobleskill, NY.
