WOMEN'S SWIMMING EARNS VICTORY OVER DELHI IN DOUBLE DUAL MEET

AURORA, N.Y. – The Wells College women's swimming team came away with a split in their double dual meet against SUNY Cobleskill and SUNY Delhi on Thursday evening in Cobleskill, N.Y. The Express defeated Delhi 109-42 and fell to Cobleskill 116-68.

Idolyn Villiotti paced the Express placing first in the 200 Yard IM (2:39.75) and the 100 Yard Backstrok (1:12.06). Hallie Hanson placed second in the 200 Yard Freestyle with a time of 2:30.73, while teammate Sarah Sherboneau followed with a third place finish with a time of 2:45.36.

Rounding out the highlights for the Express, Caitlin Farris placed second in the 100 Yard Butterfly with a time of 1:39.30, while the 200 Yard Freestyle Relay team of Sherboneau, Gwen Lillie, Kait Mullen, and Farris finished third with a time of 2:25.03.

The Express return to the pool next on Dec. 3 when they travel to Washington, D.C. to take on the Gallaudet University Bisons at 1 p.m.
