MARYWOOD SETS PACE IN VICTORY OVER EXPRESS

SCRANTON, Pa. – The Wells College women's swimming team fell 147-50 to the Marywood University Pacers Wednesday evening in Scranton, Pa. The Pacer's placed first in all 11 events to earn the victory.

 

The women's 200 Yard Medley Relay team of Sarah Sherboneau, Molly Heslin, Hallie Hanson, Britta Kilbourn, opened the meet finishing third with a time of 2:28.08.

 

Gabby Spencer placed second in the 50 Yard Freestyle touching the wall with a time of 27.53. Spencer also placed second in the 100 Yard Backstroke with a time of 1:09.65, and helped lead the 200 Yard Freestyle team, also swam by Idolyn Villiotti, Erika Bareiss, and Olivia Touron to a second place finish with a time of 1:55.55.

 

In the 200 Yard I.M. Hallie Hanson placed third with a time of 2:47.71 and Idolyn Villiotti earned a third place finish in the 100 Yard Butterfly with a time of 1:15.35.

 

The Express return to the pool on Saturday in double-dual meet against Pitt-Bradford and Mansfield University at 1 p.m. in Aurora.
