Women's Swimming Edged By SUNY Brockport, 172-80

BROCKPORT, N.Y. – The Wells College women's swimming team posted a 172-80 loss to the Golden Eagles of The College at Brockport Saturday afternoon at the James B. Fulton Natatorium.

In the day's first event, the relay team of Hilary Feudale (Coal Township, Pa.), Meghan Terry (Delmar, N.Y.), Gabby Spencer (Trumansburg, N.Y.) and Olive Touron (Cato, N.Y.) placed third out of four squads, posting a 400 Yard Medley time of 4:41.97. Spencer also placed second in the women's 200 Yard Individual Medley, posting a time of 2:30.72, narrowly missing out on first place by only five seconds.

In the women's 100 Yard Freestyle, Terry trailed the leading Golden Eagles swimmer, Jessica Peronne, by only four seconds. With two Brockport swimmers competing in the exhibition lanes in the women's 500 Yard Freestyle, Touron, Nina Daniels (Pittsford, N.Y.) and Gwenn Lillie (Potsdam, N.Y.) earned a collective 16 points for their team – Touron led the field with a time of 6:10.71 to earn nine points.
