Feudale Draws Third Straight Student-Athlete Of The Week Nod

GANSEVOORT, N.Y. – For the third straight week, freshman Hilary Feudale (Coal Township, Pa.) of the Wells College women's swimming team was selected as the North Eastern Athletic Conference Women's Swimming Student-Athlete of the Week, the conference office announced Monday. Feudale and the Express posted victories against SUNY Cobleskill (53-42) and Gallaudet (61-34) this past Saturday at the Fighting Tigers' triangular swim meet.

Individually, Feudale won the 50-yard freestyle (0:27.69) and the 100-yard backstroke (1:08.35) on the day, while also being a part of the winning 200-yard medley relay team that took first place with a time of 2:07.92, nearly 20 seconds ahead of the second place finisher. She has now captured first place in nine of her last 10 events, while placing second in the lone outlying event.

As a team, the Wells College women's swimming team boasts a 5-1 record in head-to-head meets. They have also won four head-to-head meets, including three against NEAC members. Individually, Feudale has collected her third straight NEAC Student-Athlete of the Week award following this afternoon's announcement from the conference. She has received this recognition four times across her rookie season.
