Men's and Women's Swimming Competes At Hartwick Relays

ONEONTA, N.Y. – The Wells College men's and women's swimming programs opened their season Saturday afternoon at the Hartwick Relays, hosted by Hartwick College. The women's squad posted 44 points, placing fifth out of five teams while the men's squad tabulated 24 points, also placing fifth amongst the competing schools. The host Hawks of Hartwick College collected first place in the men's and women's competitions.

Many players made their collegiate debuts for the Express, including Amelia Flint (Bath, N.Y.), Nelson Ayala (Brooklyn, N.Y.), Gina Ross-Detro (Geneva, N.Y.) and Raben Osborne (Sodus, N.Y.).

The Express return to action Friday, Oct. 25 as they host the Golden Eagles from the College at Brockport in a 6:00 p.m. contest.
