Women's Swimming Wraps Up Regular Season

The Wells College women's swimming team competed Saturday, Jan. 27 against Cazenovia College and William Smith College at Geneva, N.Y. Cazenovia won 143-58 over Wells and William Smith defeated Wells 154-60.

The 400-yard medley relay of Shannon Simmons, Courtney Cloutier, Kaitlyn Schwend, and Amy Storti took third place in 4:58.22.

Anna Bozeat was fourth in the 1,000-yard freestyle in 13:29.43.

Cloutier took fourth in the 400-yard individual medley in 5:27.72 and fourth in the 100 free in 1:05.22.

Schwend was third in the 100-yard butterfly in 1:07.17.

Wells closed the meet with a second-place finish in the 200-yard freestyle relay in 2:07.02.

The Express will be in preparation over the next couple weeks and returns to action for the season-ending North Eastern Athletic Conference championship meet hosted by SUNY Cobleskill Feb. 16-18.
