FIVE WOMEN'S TENNIS PLAYERS NAMED TO NEAC ALL-CONFERENCE TEAMS

Aurora, NY – Five Express women's tennis players were named to the NEAC All-Conference following the conference championship's held in Clarks Summit, PA.

Ayako Otsu earned 2nd-Team All-Conference at fifth singles defeating #2 seed Jessica Karl of Penn St. Harrisburg 6-4, 6-3 before falling in the championship match to Nicole Becker of Keuka 6-2, 6-4.
Ali Nolan earned 3rd-Team All-Conference at #3 singles. Nolan lost to #2 Alexa Watach of PS. Harrisburg 7-6, 6-3, but turned it around in the consolation match defeating #4 seed Holly Woodcock of PS. Berks 7-5, 6-1 to earn All-Conference honors.
Sharmilee Nuli earned 3rd-Team All-Conference honors at #6 singles. Nuli lost the first match to #1 seed Sammi Hall of PS. Harrisburg 6-3, 6-2 before coming back to take the consolation match against Steph Williams of PS Berks 6-1, 6-1.
The Express #1 doubles team of Cat Abrego and Ana Lucia Riley earned 3rd-Team All-Conference. Abrego and Riley fell to #2 seed Keuka College 8-4 in the first match. In the consolation game the Express bounced back to defeat #4 Cobleskill 8-4 and take 3rd-Team honors.

The Express 3rd doubles team took 3rd-Team All-Conference honors. Led by Sharmilee Nuli and Ayako Otsu, the Express fell in their first match to #1 PS. Harrisburg 9-8,  but were able to comeback in the consolation match, defeating PS. Berks 8-4.
