LAKERS TAKE ONE FROM WOMEN'S TENNIS

Aurora, NY –The Wells College women's tennis team finished with one match win against SUNY Oswego as the Express went on to lose 8-1 to the Lakers in non-conference action Saturday afternoon in Aurora. With the loss the Express fall to 4-6 on the season.

The Express lone win came in doubles match play as #3 double's duo Ana Riley (Syracuse) and Sarah Hansen (Cortland Manor) defeated Hannah Marks and Sara Bame of Oswego 8-2. Up 2-1 after doubles play, the Lakers would go on to sweep the Express in singles match play winning all six matches.

The Express return to action on Monday, April 20th as they will travel to NEAC rival Keuka College to take on the Storm with the first match set for 4:00 pm.
