NITTANY LIONS TAKE BITE OUT OF EXPRESS

Reading, Pa.–  The Wells College women's tennis team fell 7-2 to the Penn. St. Berks Nittany Lions in North Eastern Athletic Conference action Sunday afternoon in Reading, Pa. With the loss the Express fall to 4-3 (4-2 NEAC), while Berks improves to 6-4 (1-0 NEAC).

The Nittany Lions swept through the double flight, 3-0, and took the singles flight 4-2 to capture the victory. 

Ana Lucia Riley and Caityln Copfer earned the only two wins for the Express in singles action, winning 6-2, 6-2, and 6-1, 2-6, 7-5 respectively. 

Wells returns to the courts on Saturday, April 17^th at 1:00 p.m. against SUNY Cobleskill in Aurora, N.Y.
