WOMEN'S TENNIS EARNS INDIVIDUAL SEEDING

(Aurora, N.Y.)─ The Wells College women's tennis team learned Tuesday afternoon they will be sending five singles players and two doubles teams to the North Eastern Athletic Conference Individual Championship on Sunday, May 1st at Penn. St. Harrisburg. The tennis team as a whole finished fifth in the regular season and did not earn a team birth to the NEAC Championship.
 
Caitlyn Copfer earned the No. 4 seed at No. 2 singles. Copfer finished 2-4 on the season and will take on No. 1 seed Tesse Doyle from Wilson College.
 
Lorina Lamier earned the No. 4 seed at No. 3 singles. Lamier finished the season at 3-3 and will take on No. 1 seed  Stephanie Mockus of Penn. St. Abington.
 
Mindy Lamier earned the No. 2 seed at No. 4 singles. Lamier finshed the season at 4-2 and will take on the No. 3 seed Sarah Loucks from Wilson College.
 
Kelly Peitruch earned the No. 4 seed at No. 5 singles. Peitruch finished the season 3-3 and will take on No. 1 seed Arion Harris from Penn. St. Berks.
 
Brittany Vanno earned the No. 3 seed at No. 6 singles. Vanno finished 4-2 on the season and will take on No. 2 seed Lauren Hetzel from Penn. St. Abington.
 
In doubles action, the Express team of Copfer and Sarah Hansen earned the No. 4 seed at No. 1 doubles. The duo, who finished 3-3 on the season, will take on No. 1 seed Ameila Doyle and Tessa Doyle from Wilson College.
 
The Express also earned the No. 3 seed at No. 3 doubles. The duo of Brittany Vanno and Kelly Pietruch finished the season at 4-2 and will take on No. 2 seed Sarah Schneider and Kara DeWitt from Keuka College.
