WOMEN'S TENNIS FALLS IN SEASON OPENER TO ALFRED

(Aurora, N.Y.)─  The Wells College women's tennis team dropped the opening match of their fall season 7-2 to Alfred University on Wednesday afternoon in Alfred. The Saxons made it a clean sweep of doubles play and took four of the six singles matches to earn the victory. Ana Riley earned the win at No. 3 singles defeating Melissa Boyer 7-6 (7-5) and 6-2, while Lorina Lamier earned the win at No. 6 singles by a score of 6-4, 6-2.

The Express return to action next on Monday, September 20 at 4:00 p.m. at Wells.
