AURORA, N.Y. – The Wells College women's tennis team was shutout by visiting Hartwick College on Saturday. With the loss, the Express conclude their fall calendar with a 1-5 overall record while Hartwick improves to 5-4.

Junior Brooke Benedetto (Williamstown, N.Y.) posted the closest result of the day for Wells, ultimately dropping a 6-2, 6-4 decision at No. 1 singles to Kelly Napolitano.

Wells will open their spring slate of matches Wednesday, Apr. 1 as they face-off against Keuka on the road at 4 p.m. in North Eastern Athletic Conference play.
