Women's Tennis Announces Schedule Changes

AURORA, N.Y. – The Wells College women's tennis team has announced two changes on their 2015 calendar of matches, Head Coach Dan Sullivan announced Wednesday morning.

The Express will play the College of Saint Elizabeth at 4 p.m. on Wednesday, Apr. 1 to open their North Eastern Athletic Conference schedule before hosting the Wolfpack of Keuka College at 1 p.m. on Saturday, Apr. 4. The only major effect on the schedule is that Wells' two opponents swapped match dates.

During the regular season of play, Wells has won 16-of-19 regular season NEAC matches dating back to the 2010-11 women's tennis season and has qualified for the West Division championship match in two of the last three seasons of play.

Last year, the Express also rebounded from an 0-6 start to win six-straight matches in the spring, racking up five NEAC victories before falling to Penn St.-Abington prior to the postseason. This year, Wells carries a 1-5 record from the fall into the spring season.
