CROSS COUNTRY RESULTS AT 31ST ANNUAL GENESEO INVITATIONAL

Letchworth State Park – The cross country team traveled to the 31^st Annual Geneseo Invitational at Letchworth State Park this weekend.  The men and women competed against the largest and most competitive field of runners they have faced this season.

The women raced in a field of 216 runners over the 6k course.  Senior Kayleen Wilkinson led the ladies with her 161^st place finish and time of 28:59.6.  She was followed by Sarah Brenner 32:57.6/199, Brittany Dennee 35:29.3/208, Beth Cereo 41:54.7/215, and Beth Raymond 50:10.7/216.  The express had five ladies cross the line once again which allowed them to place in the team scoring along with 22 other teams. 

The men competed in a field of 283 runners from 24 complete teams.  Freshman Brayden Shumski finished 133^rd and crossed the line with a time of 29:16.2.  He was followed by Sam Share 31:39.1/219, Brandon Johnson 31:50.8/223, Evando Nascimento 33:14.4/242, Van Bucsko 33:28.8/246, Brian Corcoran 36:05.7/268 and Tim Lambert 40:13.1/278.

The express will travel to the Nazareth Invitational next weekend.
