JULIANN BAILEY HIRED AS THE NEW MEN'S AND WOMEN'S CROSS COUNTRY COACH

Aurora, NY – The Wells College Athletic Department is pleased to announce that Juliann Bailey has been hired as the new Men's and Women's Head Cross Country Coach. Currently the physical education teacher at Geneva Middle School in Geneva, NY, Bailey has also spent the last eight years as the head cross country coach at Geneva High School helping to transform the program into one of the most respected in the Finger Lakes region.

Prior to working at Geneva Middle School, Bailey ran fours-year for the SUNY Cortland Red Dragon's cross country team, finishing as a five-time All-American, while qualifying for eight NCAA Championships and winning three NCAA Division III team national titles from 1993-1995. Bailey graduated cum-laude with a bachelor of science in physical education in 1998 before going on to earn her master's degree in physical education in 2004 from Cortland.
