MIDDLEBROOK EARNS NEAC RUNNER OF THE WEEK HONORS

(AURORA, N.Y.)─ Freshmen Emily Middlebrook (Newark, N.Y./Newark) of the Wells College women's cross country team has earned North Eastern Athletic Conference Women's Cross Country Runner of the Week honors for the week ending September 3. Middlebrook placed fourth out of 93 runners with a time of 21:50.09, while leading her team to a third place finish out of 13 teams at the 5th Annual SUNYIT Invitational held on Saturday.
 
Middlebrooks third place finish is the highest of any women's runner in Wells program history.
 
The Express return to action this coming Saturday when the travel to Oswego State University to take part in the Pat Paterson's College Women's 5K in Oswego, N.Y.
