Women's Cross Country Takes Fourth At Le Moyne

The Wells College women's cross country team opened its 2018 season at the Le Moyne College Frank Dillon Memorial Invitational on Saturday, Sept. 1. The on-campus course at Le Moyne measured slightly over four kilometers.

A total of 55 runners completed the race, with five complete teams and eight institutions represented.

Seven runners finished the event for Wells, led by Amanda Fastiggi in 25th-place overall in 20:25. Abigail Frey (20:58) and Miranda Mingen (21:20) were 29th and 30th for the Express.

The other scoring runners for Wells were Yuna Itakura with a time of 25:42 and Kaylen Furr in 25:47. Aala Al-Hashimi completed the course in 28:31 and Joy Lionel ran in 29:55.

Wells will run Saturday, Sept. 8 at the Hamilton College Short Course Meet.
