Women's Cross Country Runs At Hamilton

The Wells College women's cross country team raced at the Hamilton College Short Course Invitational on Saturday, Sept. 8. The four-kilometer race was run at the Hamilton College Golf Course under cool temperatures and dry conditions. Wells finished in eighth place in a highly-competitive meet.

Eight total teams competed and the field was comprised of 107 runners. Amanda Fastiggi was the first finisher for Wells with a time of 18 minutes, 25 seconds. She was 85th overall. Abigail Frey finished in 19:10 and Miranda Mingen clocked 19:34 as three Express runners were under 20 minutes.

Kaylen Furr (21:33), Yuna Itakura (22:19) and Aala Al-Hashimi (25:58) completed the Wells lineup.

Wells will race Sept. 15 at the Rochester Yellow Jacket Invitational.
