Wells Ranks Highly In NEAC Scholar-Athlete List

A total of 66 Wells College student-athletes representing all 15 Express varsity programs demonstrated excellent academic performance and earned recognition as North Eastern Athletic Conference Scholar-Athletes for the 2018-19 academic year. Wells ranked fourth among the 12 full NEAC member institutions with 66 NEAC Scholar-Athletes. All three institutions ranked ahead of Wells have more than double the overall enrollment.

In order to be selected, a student-athlete competing in a conference-sponsored sport must achieve a combined grade-point average of 3.4 or higher for the fall and spring semesters and must have been in good standing on his or her team.

Across the conference's 12 full-member institutions and five associate member schools, student-athletes representing 36 different states and 16 different countries earned NEAC Scholar-Athlete distinction.
