The Wells College men's volleyball team wrapped up its best regular season in program history with its 25th victory in a three-set win over SUNY Poly on Saturday, April 6 at the Schwartz Athletic Center. Wells won by set scores of 25-11, 25-19 and 25-13.

The Express finished the regular season with a 25-8 overall record and 7-3 record in the North Eastern Athletic Conference. SUNY Poly is 16-12 overall and also 7-3 in the NEAC. Wells and SUNY Poly will meet in a NEAC tournament semifinal game Saturday, April 13 at 2:30 p.m. at Lancaster Bible College.

Saturday's win countered a win by the Wildcats in the first matchup between the teams earlier this season. It was the third time that Wells avenged a defeat by winning a rematch later in the 2019 season. Wells also turned the tables against Rivier and St. John Fisher.

Wells hit .438 in the match with 42 kills and seven errors. In each of the three sets Wells had 13 or more kills and three errors or fewer. Caden O'Loughlin had 12 kills, Robert Patzer had 10, Justin Williams had eight, and Joe Zimmerman had seven. Josh Undari had 32 assists.

Wells served five aces with two by Patzer and one each for Zimmerman, Undari, and O'Loughlin. Patzer and Williams each had two block assists. O'Loughlin had eight digs.
