Men’s Soccer, Women’s Tennis Postponed

AURORA, N.Y. – Due to the threat of inclement weather throughout the Finger Lakes region, the Wells College athletic department has announced the postponement of Tuesday’s home men’s soccer contest against Alfred University as well as the road women’s tennis match against Oswego State University, Director of Athletics Michael Borsz announced late Monday afternoon.

The men’s soccer team will face-off against the Saxons of Alfred University in a make-up game on Wednesday, Sept. 19 at 5:00 p.m. on the South Athletic Field. The non-conference women’s tennis match against the Lakers of Oswego State University will be rescheduled for a later date to be announced. Up-to-the-minute news and updates regarding game cancellations and postponements will be posted to the Wells College athletics Facebook and Twitter accounts as soon as it is made available.

As of 4:15 p.m. Monday afternoon, the field hockey contest scheduled for Tuesday, Sept. 18 at 4:00 p.m. against the Cardinals of St. John Fisher College has not been postponed.
