Field Hockey Falls at Marywood

The Wells College field hockey team was back in action on Saturday for their first game of a back-to-back road trip.

The Express visited Marywood University for an afternoon match-up.

Marywood jumped out to a healthy lead in this one scoring six goals in the first quarter. They followed that up with 3 more goals in the second quarter to take a 9-0 lead. 

Unfortunately for the Express, due to harsh conditions, the game was called at halftime and they suffered their second defeat of the season. 

Tomorrow the Express will take on Wilkes, at Wilkes, at 12 pm.
