COBLESKILL STOPS EXPRESS IN THEIR TRACKS

The Wells College men's basketball team had their four-game winning streak come to an end on Sunday, losing to the SUNY Cobleskill Fighting Tigers 70-61 at Cobleskill. While Cobleskill would only shoot 36 percent from the floor in the second half, it was the perimeter shooting of the Fighting Tigers that would down the Express. Despite the loss, the Express had three different players score in double figures. Freshmen Andre Sawyers (Bronx, NY) finished with 13 points and seven rebounds, while junior forward Jarrell Williams (Bronx, NY) finished with 12 points and five rebounds.  Freshmen guard Bryan Wight (Cazenovia, NY) led the Express in assist with five, while chipping in with six points in 40 minutes of play.

The Express will next head to Cazenovia College on Tuesday, January 20. Tip-off against the Wildcats is set for 8:00 pm.
